Get ready to attend the Black Parade because My Chemical Romance is reuniting!

The rock band led by Gerard Way came to an end 6 years ago, with the frontman saying, “My Chemical Romance is done. But it can never die. It is alive in me, in the guys, and it is alive inside all of you. I always knew that, and I think you did too. Because it is not a band — it is an idea.”

During the time that passed, Way has focused on his own music, but, perhaps more successfully, created the graphic novel The Umbrella Academy which is now a hit Netflix series.

That said, the band members will be returning to their musical routes with their first show together in 12 years.

The gig at Los Angeles’ Shrine Expo Hall follows rumors which first emerged a few months ago from an unlikely source — Joe Jonas.

Shortly after the Jonas Brothers themselves reunited, Joe said in an interview, “I’ve got some dirt. My Chemical Romance apparently were rehearsing next to us in New York recently…  I thought they broke up, so I don’t know.”

Let’s hope a new album is in the pipeline!
