Every Disney movie needs a princess. Or in this case, a Queen.

With production on the sequel to 2014’s Maleficicent due to get underway soon, the cast of the film is shaping up.

First They Killed My Father director Angelina Jolie will reprise her role as the villainous titular character, while I Think We’re Alone Now actress Elle Fanning will once again star as Princess Aurora.

Also said to be in discussions to join the project is Murder on the Orient Express star Michelle Pfeiffer, with the 60 year old expected to star as the Queen.

The original Maleficent told the classic fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty from a different angle—instead focusing on the evil fairy and the story of why she chose to curse Princess Aurora as a baby.

It is not yet know whether the production, which is set to be helmed by director of Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales Joachim Ronning will follow on from the first film.

In the meantime, we’ll try to avoid pricking our fingers on any spinning wheels…
