McKenna Grace is having quite a year.

The 12-year-old actress has already graced the big screen in 2019 as the younger version of Brie Larson’s character in Captain Marvel and can also be seen on Designated Survivor.

Now the pre-teen has booked another cool role: she will be starring in the upcoming sequel to Ghostbusters.

The film is being helmed by Up in the Air director Jason Reitman, whose father Ivan Reitman directed the original Ghostbusters film in 1984.

The movie will have no connection to the 2016 all-female Ghostbusters film starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristin Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones, but will serve as a second sequel following 1988’s Ghostbusters 2.

McKenna will be joined on the project by Finn Wolfhard of Stranger Things and Carrie Coon from Avengers: Infinity War.

Production is set to begin in the summer, with the film’s release date being announced as July 20th, 2020.
