Actor David Ogden Stiers passed away on Saturday aged 75, as confirmed by his agent Mitchell Stubbs and reported by The Guardian.
Stiers was famous for portraying Major Charles Winchester on M*A*S*H. He replaced Larry Linville in season six and the audience loved him.
He also gave voice to various Disney animated characters, such as Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast and minor characters in Pocahontas and Lilo & Stitch.
Stiers received two Emmy nominations for his role on M*A*S*H. He came out as gay in 2009.
