As Deadline reports, Leonardo DiCaprio is about to close a deal to star in Quentin Tarantino’s new movie. The feature will reunite the director and actor after they worked together on 2012’ Django Unchained.

Reportedly, the movie (still unnamed) is revolving around the Manson family murders in 1969 Los Angeles. DiCaprio will have the role of an aging actor but not many details are known at the moment.

The latest reports are saying that Tarantino has set his eyes on Margot Robbie to play the role of Sharon Tate while Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt have been also mentioned as possible members of the cast.

Sony Pictures studio has the rights on the film that is set to be released on August 9, 2019.
