It was a Duchess’s day out!

Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, and Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, stepped out for their first ever solo outing together.

The royal sisters-in-law made a joint appearance at the Wimbledon Ladies’ Single Final on Saturday, watching Markle’s friend Serena Williams compete for the championship title against Angelique Kerber, in what was her first post-baby grand-slam tournament.

Kate has been attending Wimbledon well before she married into the royal family. It was even somewhat of a Middleton tradition. An avid player herself, she said of the tournament,  “It is such a quintessential part of English summer. I was really taken by Agassi and Sampras, Ivanisevic and Steffi Graf. That for me was my first memories.”

Middleton and Markle looked summer ready with Meghan wearing a blue-and-white striped shirt from Ralph Lauren with wide-leg cream pants and Kate wearing a white-patterned dress. They completed the looks with their signature blowout and messy bun does.

The royal duo took their seats in the royal box after meeting with ball boys and girls, wheelchair competitors and junior players. The two were chatty and seemed to enjoy each other’s company very much, laughing and cheering on the championship’s participants.

Seems like there’s another royal power couple in the works!
