John Cena might be getting his villain on.

The WWE-star-turned-actor is reportedly in discussions to join The Suicide Squad.

The film will serve as the sequel to 2016’s Suicide Squad, which focused on the group of supervillains.

There have already been some changes to the cast of the film, which will be written and directed by Guardians of the Galaxy filmmaker James Gunn.

While Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, and Jai Courtney will reprise their respective roles as Harley Quinn, Amanda Waller, and Captain Boomerang, Will Smith will not be returning as Deadshot due to scheduling conflicts.

Idris Elba was originally hired to take over the Aladdin star’s role, but producers of the film then decided to leave the door open for Smith’s possible return in the future and give Elba an entirely new character, which has yet to be announced.

Cena’s possible character also remains a mystery, but if he does join the film, it will be his first foray into the world of comic books.
