Jimmy Fallon and Tina Fey had a moment and we still have warm fuzzy feelings from it.

The pair have known each other a long time, having both starred on Saturday Night Live and been co-anchors on Weekend Update.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the talk show host sought to surprise his old friend during a segment where he introduces guests to their fans.

The couple ventured to a performance of Mean Girls: The Musical, written by Tina, where super excited lovers of Ms. Norbury were surprised by their idol.

When Jimmy and Tina returned to the studio, the 43-year-old father of 2 proceeded to tell his 47-year-old friend just how much she inspires him.

“If you’re lucky throughout your life, you get to meet and spend time with a few people who really change you for the better,” he said. “For me, you’re one of those people. I met you when I was 23, I believe you were 45. And I was lucky enough to work with you and grow with you and learn from you. Today, I have two daughters and my hope for them is that they grow up to be leaders like you, and that they’ll be as fearless and confident in their strengths as you are.”

We don’t think we can say “Awww” enough.
