Jason Momoa and Emilia Clarke haven’t acted opposite each other for many years, but they are still one another’s “moon and stars.”
The Game of Thrones stars played husband and wife on the HBO show’s first season, but have remained good friends ever since.
And so, when Emilia revealed that she had experienced quite a serious health scare, her on-screen spouse couldn’t help but gush about how much he adores her.
“I’m very sad, because we almost lost her numerous time,” Jason said of the double brain aneurysms the actress endured.
She revealed in an essay for The New Yorker that she was forced to undergo two life-saving surgeries and at one point was unable to speak.
“I’ve kind of been a part of that whole situation for a very long time, so we’ve had so many scares and trying to find the right way to come out and help,” Momoa, continued. “I just think it’s beautiful that… she’s so brave in helping the world and trying to raise awareness.”
