Janet Hubert is having another go at doing soapies.
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum has joined the cast of General Hospital and will star as Yvonne, a new love interest for Mike played by Max Gail at the nursing home.
The 62-year-old actress’ other soap-opera appearances include One Live to Live and All My Children. She’s also done some time of Friends. She is best known, however, for her role as Vivian Banks on Fresh Prince opposite Will Smith from the first season in 1990 to the end of the third season in 1993.
The daytime drama will begin to unfold next month, as Hubert’s first episode airs December 7.
The medical drama is the longest-running American soap opera currently in production and the second-longest drama in American television history.
