Poor Ryan Reynolds.
If you’ve ever been unfriended or unfollowed by someone on social media, you’ll know just how the Deadpool actor is feeling.
Or, perhaps you won’t, unless that individual is your spouse.
This week, Blake Lively deleted all her Instagram posts, deleted her profile picture, and unfollowed her entire list (hubby Ryan included), replacing them with 36 women named “Emily Nelson” and a bio that reads: “What happened to Emily?”
Yes, we’re confused too.
Blake and Ryan are known for teasing about one another, with the 41-year-old actor telling Australia’s Smallzy’s Surgery, “I’m very sad about that. Definitely stinks. It’s a terrible way to find out that I’ve been kicked out of the house, to be honest. Absolutely terrible. I don’t know where rage like that comes from.”
It now appears as though the Café Society star has rejoined Instagram, and that the entire exercise was a publicity stunt for her upcoming film, A Simple Favor, in which she plays a character named… Emily.
We recommend that Blake refollow Ryan soon, because she’s missing out on some great comedy.
