Just because the show has ended, doesn’t mean Game of Thrones fans have to get upset just yet; one week after the finale, HBO will be airing a 2-hour documentary about the making of the final season.

The trailer teases several heart-wrenching scenes from the documentary. A shot of D.B. Weiss (one of the show’s co-creators) can be seen addressing his cast at their final script run-through.

“This is strange,” he says. “Here we are at the last table read. It’s like looking around and seeing your family.”

After ten years and 8 seasons together, the cast and crew is understandably close and emotional over their impending goodbyes. After Weiss’ speech, the actors give their producer a boisterous ovation.

The teaser also features behind the scenes footage of the episodes, especially the makings of the major battles at Winterfell and King’s Landing.

Several candid remarks are caught on tape, including one cast member saying “I can’t even begin to imagine how this is going to look on TV.”

The documentary in its entirety, entitled Game of Thrones: The Last Watch, will air May 29th at 9pm EST.
