Winter is coming. As is death.
As we count down the hours until the final season of Game of Thrones hits our screens, Arya Stark seems to have hit the ground running in the show’s latest trailer.
“I know death, he’s got many faces. I look forward to seeing this one,” Maisie Williams’ character says in the start of the clip released by HBO a month before the series premieres.
Producers of Game of Thrones have set up the final season as the showdown between the living and the dead, with the trailer tying in to that well.
“They’re coming. Our enemy doesn’t tire, doesn’t stop, doesn’t feel,” Jon Snow can be heard saying in reference to the army of White Walkers. Apparently he knows more than nothing.
The trailer also includes shots of Daenerys, Varys, Sansa, Gendry, and Cersei who currently sits in the Iron Throne.
Season 8 of Game of Thrones arrives on the 14th of April.
