Actor Kevin McKidd, known for his role of Owen Hunt in Grey’s Anatomy, just revealed he has got married to chef Arielle Goldrath. That is not all since McKidd also shared with the public that they are expecting a baby together. The 44-year-old Scottish actor made the announcement via his official website.
“Arielle and I are so happy to announce our marriage and new baby, who is soon to join our growing family,” McKidd wrote on the website. “My kids are happy for us too and are looking forward to the arrival of their newest sibling! Close friends and family came together with my Grey’s family to share in our celebration day – an intimate, low key gathering culminating in a Scottish Ceilidh dance. There’s much to be grateful for and we’re thrilled with the adventures 2018 will bring us all!”
According to the reports, Kevin McKidd and Arielle Goldrath got married on a ceremony officiated by Rabbi Emma Lutz and held at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California.
McKidd was previously married to ex-wife Jane Parker for 17 years. The two got a divorce in 2016 and decided to share custody of their two children, daughter Iona and son Joseph.
Before landing his breakthrough role of Owen Hunt in Grey’s Anatomy, Kevin McKidd starred in movies like Trainspotting, Dog Soldiers, and the Kingdom of Heaven. He also appeared in numerous TV shows including HBO’s Rome, where he played Lucius Vorenus.
