The first list of musical acts for Glastonbury’s 50th anniversary has been unveiled.
Festival chief Emily Eavis took to social media, confirming to fans that despite Coronavirus concerns and cancellations of countless concerts and festivals — including Coachella and Stagecoach — Glastonbury is still on as planned.
She wrote: “As things stand, we are still working hard to deliver our 50th anniversary Festival in June, and we are very proud of the bill that we have put together over the last year or so. No one has a crystal ball to see exactly where we will all be 15 weeks from now, but we are keeping our fingers firmly crossed that it will be here at Worthy Farm for the greatest show on Earth!”
The festival will be headlined by Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift and Sir Paul McCartney. They will be joined by Camila Cabello, Charli XCX, Dua Lipa, Diana Ross, Angel Olsen, FKA Twigs, Glass Animals, Haim, Kacey Musgraves, Lana Del Rey, Thundercat and many many more.
Glastonbury, the UK’s largest festival, will take place at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset from June 24th to 28th.
