The Bronx ain’t that far from Flushing, Queens… At least as far as Fran Drescher is concerned.

With practically every ’90s series getting a revival, the actress was asked about The Nanny following suit — and we have to say that her idea for who should join her is nothing short of on fleek!

“Wouldn’t [Cardi B] be great as my daughter?” she said in an interview with PEOPLE.

“I just thought she paid homage to me wearing animal print and said ‘Fran Drescher.’ And then I got my juices flowing and thought, ‘Wait a minute, she’s from New York, we both have funny voices, she could be my daughter! It’s really getting me excited. It’s fresh, and it could be super fun.”

The Nanny made the 61-year-old a household name as she played the titular character from 1993 until 1999.

If The Nanny DOES return, we hope the rest of the cast, including Charles Shaughnessy and Daniel Davis, returns as well.

As for Cardi?

Fran says she is talking to the Bodak Yellow rapper’s representatives.
