The greatest superhero of all will now get his own chance to shine.

The man responsible for the creation of some of the most beloved comic book characters, Stan Lee, passed away in November at the age of 95.

Were it not for the nonagenarian, the world would not have Spider-Man, the X-Men, or any of The Avengers.

And so, a stellar tribute to the late New Yorker has been created to allow comic book fans to pay tribute to the stalwart.

Excelsior! A Stan Lee Celebration has been organised by investment company Legion M, brand company Agents of Mayhem, and Lee’s POW! Entertainment, as well as Clerks director Kevin Smith, who will hold discussions with Star Wars actor Mark Hamill, Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld, Batman executive producer Michael Uslan, Daredevil star Vincent D’Onofrio, hip-hop artist RZA, and the producer of X-Men and Transformers Tom DeSanto.

The event, which will be held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on the 30th of January, will also include videos tributes and live performances of Stan’s favourite music and poetry.

Proceeds will go to The Hero Initiative which is a nonprofit that helps aged comic creators in need.
