The fans did it!
Thanks to dedication, and many social media campaigns, Lucifer will be getting another season.
The Tom Ellis series based on the devil’s adventures in Los Angeles was canceled by Fox in May following its third season.
Fans rallied — creating the hashtag #SaveLucifer — while producers of the show, Warner Bros. Television, began searching for another distributor.
The combined efforts have now proved successful as Netflix has announced itself as Lucifer’s new home.
Series producer, Joe Henderson, congratulated the fans on Twitter:
Thank you thank you THANK YOU to all the #Lucifer fans. You brought us back. YOU did this. So relax, take a breath, put some ice on those fingers that have been hashtagging up a storm… and get ready for more deviltime 😈

We’re not yet sure when production will commence on the 4th season, but at least the show is no longer damned.
