Custom officials can be the worst at the best of times. Just ask John Krasinski.

The A Quiet Place director has been married to Mary Poppins Returns actress Emily Blunt since 2010 and the couple are parents to two little girls.

While Emily was filming in the UK, John decided to visit her and was not met with the best introduction to England, thanks to a customs official at London’s Heathrow Airport.

The American actor sat down on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to reveal that the official was not that impressed with his filmography when he heard that John had starred in the US version of the UK classic The Office.

When the matter moved onto who John was visiting, the situation got even worse.

“He says, ‘Who are you visiting here?’” John recalls. “I said, ‘My wife.’ And he says, ‘Is she an actress?’ I said, ‘Yeah.’ He said, ‘Would I know her?’ I went, ‘I don’t know, man, her name is Emily Blunt.’ He seriously goes, ‘You? YOU married Emily Blunt?!’”

Well, in our opinion, John, Emily is lucky to have “you.”
