Emma Watson joins the latest adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic.

The Harry Potter alum and Disney’s live-action Beauty and the Beast star has been tapped to star in the Greta Gerwig helmed adaptation of Little Women which follows the March sisters in Civil War-era America.

According to Variety, Watson will be replacing Emma Stone in a yet unknown part. Watson has been tapped to play the part originally intended for Stone, who is unable to join due to previous obligations for the production of the film The Favourite.

Watson will be joining Meryl Streep, Timothee Chalamet, Saoirse Ronan, and Laura Dern.

Gerwig, who was nominated for five Oscars earlier this year for Lady Bird, will direct and write the film.
