It may be mid-summer in the northern hemisphere, but things are already starting to get chilly. Make that frozen.
Disney has released the first full trailer for the sequel to the 2013 animated hit, and there isn’t a snowman in sight…
Frozen 2 looks to be taking an even darker turn than its predecessor, as our favorite Arendelle residents leave the kingdom on a quest to find the origin of Elsa’s powers.
“Go North, across the enchanted lands and into the unknown. But be careful. We have always feared Elsa’s powers were too much for this world. Now, we must hope they are enough,” the leader of the trolls says.
The dark and dangerous mission involves fog and pink fire, with Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf all along for the ride.
Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad are all back, as well as Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown joining in. Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez will once again be writing the music which won them an Oscar the first time round.
Ready your sleds — Frozen 2 is in theatres November 22nd.
