Ellen has once again shown that she’s not that different from the rest of us. Like so many women (and men) already did, she joined the #metoo movement – an online campaign devoted to the demystification of sexual harassment.
The movement was started by Alyssa Milano, who tweeted: “If all women who have been sexually harassed or assaulted wrote #MeToo as a status, we might give people a sense of magnitude of the problem.”
Social media are flooded with people around the world sharing their experiences and raising the awareness about this problem.
