Dua Lipa has teased her new album and has described her new sound as “really nostalgic.”
Speaking with Bang Showbiz the “Don’t Start Now” singer dropped hints about her upcoming record. She described it as a mix of her old music with some new genres thrown in too.
“It’s very disco-orientated,” she shared on the Red Carpet at the MTV Emmy Awards. “I guess I got a lot of inspiration from “Electricity” and “One Kiss”, she continued. “It felt like the natural progression. The album is really nostalgic with new sounds.”
The news of a “nostalgic” album with “new sounds” comes as no surprise considering Dua Lipa’s recent social media posts. At the beginning of the month, the singer posted a photo of herself with her new blonde hair. She captioned the image “new era.”
