The Sex and the City alum joins Queen Latifah in The Equalizer reboot.
In addition to the duo the project also stars Lorraine Toussaint, Tory Kittles, Liza Lapira, and Laya DeLeon Hayes.
The reboot is a reimagining of the classic 1980s series. Queen Latifah will star as Robyn, “an enigmatic woman with a mysterious background who uses her extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn,” and Noth will play William Bishop, “a quirky ex-CIA director who was Robyn’s first handler and has a father-daughter relationship with her.”
On board to executive produce is co-creator of the original series, Shakim Compere. Also serving as exec producers are Dana Owens, John Davis, John Fox, Debra Martin Chase, Richard Lindheim, and Liz Friedlander, who will also direct the pilot.
