The Comedy Central series Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens has released their first official trailer.
The Crazy Rich Asians star created, wrote, and will star in the 10 episode series, about her life be raised in Flushing, Queens, New York, which premiers on January 22. The show will be a half-hour long comedy about Nora Linn (Awkwafina) who’s father (BD Wong) and Grandma (Lori Tan Chinn) raise her and her cousin (Bowen Yang). Nora relies on her family to help her move into young adulthood in NYC.
Guest stars include Jamie Chung (The Hangover Part II), Laverne Cox (Orange is the New Black), and Natasha Lyonne (Russian Doll).
Nora Lum, Karey Dornetto, Lucia Aniello, Teresa Hsiao, Peter Principato, and Itay Reiss will executive produce Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens.
