All good things have their day… even celebrity horses trying to return to the limelight.

Netflix has announced that the forthcoming season of BoJack Horseman will be its last.

Will Arnett has voiced the titular character throughout all 5 seasons of the adult animation and will fulfill the role one last time for season 6.

The streamer also announced that the final season would be shown in two parts. The first would air on October 25th, followed by the second on January 31st.

The final season will find the anthropomorphic horse in rehab, as depicted in a trailer released by Netflix.

“Every time someone leaves rehab, makes you think about your own progress. I bought into this idea that I was the thing that couldn’t be changed, but the main thing I think about is how stupid I am that I didn’t do this sooner. I wasted so many years being miserable because I assumed that was the only way to be, and I don’t want to be that anymore,” BoJack writes in a letter to his friend Diane, voiced by Alison Brie.

Let’s hope he gets his fairy(horse)tale ending.
