ITV has commissioned another royal documentary.
The UK broadcaster has commissioned BBC Studios to make a new documentary exploring Queen Elizabeth II’s experiences during World War II. Per multiple outlets, Our Queen At War, tells the story of how the war transformed a teenage princess into the country’s longest-reigning monarch.
The documentary will be directed by Christopher Bruce with Chris Granlund executive producing.
Granlund said in a statement: “Our Queen At War with its perceptive interviews and extraordinary archive material – much of it in color – promises to offer a fascinating insight into HRH The Queen’s life during those influential war years and during such an important chapter of the UK’s history.”
