Baby Archie Had a Christening Fit for a Prince

Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is officially a member of the Church of England.

The royal family gathered with their loved ones at the private chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday, where the newest member of the monarchy was christened.

The private affair was led by the Archbishop of Canterbury and attended by only 25 people, including Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles, and Meghan Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland.

Meghan and Prince Harry have chosen not to make public young Archie’s godparents, but did share two photos with royal fans.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are so happy to share the joy of this day with members of the public who have been incredibly supportive since the birth of their son. They thank you for your kindness in welcoming their first born and celebrating this special moment,” the caption read.

The Duke and Duchess’s Instagram post also revealed that the 2-month-old was baptized wearing a handmade replica of the christening gown worn by royal infants for the last 11 years.
