A baby is on the way for Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Perry.

The 37-year-old rapper took to Instagram to make the announcement posting a photo of herself, very much pregnant in a bathing suit. She captioned the photo, “#Preggers” and soon posted three additional photos with one of them captioned, “Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes. 💛

For months, fans have been speculating that Minaj was pregnant—during a Q&A session on Twitter she told a fan that she’s having cravings for red meat and salad with “extra jalapeños.” Another follower was quick to comment that she’s probably having morning sickness which Minaj replied with, “Lmao. No throwing up. But nausea and peeing non stop. Omg what do u think this means guys???? Lmaooooooooooo.”

Minaj married Perry in 2019 and she commented about her marriage on Lil Wayne’s Apple Music Series, Young Money Radio with Lil Wayne saying, “I can’t complain. I really cannot freaking complain,” she said. “I didn’t think it would be as refreshing and calming as it is. Even if you’re not married, when you have someone that feels like your soulmate or someone who understands you, it just makes you feel like you’re on top of the world.”

In regards to her music, Minaj has had an exciting year as she reached No. 1 for the first time in her career with her remix with Doja Cat’s for “Say So” and her song with 6x9ine, “Trollz.” Minaj’s last album, Queen, was released in 2018.

Community’s fan base has extended since the series dropped on Netflix on April 1. Fans can’t seem to get enough of the study group!

Like many other casts during the coronavirus, they reunited for a table read and Q&A to raise money to support coronavirus relief charities. Creator Dan Harmon hinted at the second half of the show’s “Six Seasons and a Movie” during the reunion show.

In regards to a movie, star Donald Glover said, “We can’t make movies right now” but that he’s up to do one in the future with his co-stars, who also expressed a desire to work on a movie. During previous interviews, star Joel McHale suggested that Glover might be too busy to join because of his music career as Childish Gambino and his TV career with Atlanta.

Creator Dan Harmon talked about how he appreciates the series so much more now that time has passed since the last episode which aired in 2015, “When I watch the episodes now, I have these waves come over me of like, first of all, my writers were amazing and probably didn’t get rewarded for it as much as maybe I thought the job was, but second… the whole cast is just like a machine on a basketball court that automatically slam dunks everything that you put onto the court.”

Some of the topics the cast reminisced about included moments like when they first heard Glover’s mix tape and the time Jack Black was a guest. The cast also talked about what their characters would be doing during the pandemic.

The Cannes Festival is the latest entertainment event to be affected by the coronavirus. Cannes has chosen to opt-out of a physical edition and unveil a selection of movies in early June in collaboration with other festivals to present movies. They’ve also decided to cancel a physical festival this fall.

“As of today, a physical edition seems complicated to organize, so we are going forward with an announcement of films from the (initial Official) Selection at the beginning of June,” said a spokesperson for the festival, confirming what Cannes’ director Thierry Fremaux said on Sunday during an interview with Screen Daily.

Cannes has decided to to organize “redeployment ‘outside the walls’ (of Cannes), in collaboration with fall festivals,” the spokesperson said, instead of having a virtual festival.

Cannes’ director Thierry Fremaux plans to announce the films that were part of the roster and scheduled to be released in theaters between now and next spring. These films will be given a “Cannes 20” label and the films that were selected for this edition, but pushed back their release date by a year will be considered for the 2021 edition. The “labeled” films will be featured at film festivals such as Toronto, Deauville, Angoulême, San Sebastian, New York, Busan, and Fremaux’s own Lumière festival in Lyon.

The selection process for next years festival will start in the fall.

The Cannes Marché du Film’s virtual edition is set to run June 22-26, alongside a U.S agencies-led virtual market. Its yet to be decided if the Venice Film Festival will take place and a final decision will be made at the end of the month.

Taika Waititi still has his hands in the Star Wars universe as he’s set to direct and co-write a new Star Wars film with 1917 scribe Krysty Wilson-Cairns.

Disney made the announcement on Monday and confirmed that a new untitled Star Wars TV series from Russian Doll creator Leslye Headland is still in the works at Disney Plus.

Back in January, it was rumored that Waititi was developing a Star Wars film after he directed the season finale of the Disney Plus Star Wars series The Mandalorian.

When Variety asked Waititia about the project in February he said, “Are there discussions about the ‘Star Wars’ film? Like, yeah, I discussed with my friends in 1996 how cool ‘Star Wars’ was. I think people see me hanging out with people, especially with ‘Star Wars,’ and think I’m having some big discussions about it. I would f—ing love to.…If it was right. I would want to do any kind of movie if it made sense, and if it felt not like career suicide.”

It’s still unclear if this film will be one of Disney’s three untitled Star Wars films that are supposed to be released December 2022, 2024, and 2026, or if Waititi’s project is separate.

This project will be the first official Star Wars feature film to be confirmed after Games of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss turned down their deal to make a series of Star Wars movies last October.

The latest announcement is that Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga will be performing their hit duet and single “Rain on Me” for the live show. “Rain on Me” comes from Gaga’s latest album Chromatica, which has been nominated for seven awards.

Other previously announced performers include Gaga, Miley Cyrus, The Weeknd, Roddy Ricch, BTS, Doja Cat, J Balvin, Maluma, and CNCO. More performances will be announced over the next couple of days.

This will mark Grande’s first performance at the VMAs since 2018’s “God Is a Woman” and it will be her fifth performance on the show. Over the years, Grande’s been nominated for 35 VMAs (nine of which are from this year) and she’s won five times.
