The band will be partnering with Encore Drive-In Nights series to put on shows for those who are taking advantage of the classic drive-in outdoor theater trend in the U.S. And Canada. On August 29, their live concert will be screened across outdoor theaters.

The concert will not be a replay of one their old shows. They will be playing near the band’s home in Northern California. The show will be aired across drive-in movie theaters in North America and will include footage from the band’s career.

The official website description reads, “METALLICA will be the first rock band to be featured in the Encore Drive-In Nights series, with a full set airing at hundreds of drive-ins across the United States and Canada on Saturday, August 29. Shot especially for this one-night-only event, the band’s first show of 2020 will go down as one of the most unique and memorable METALLICA experiences of all time. The event will also include a special guest performance by Three Days Grace.”

Bad Boys is a comedy franchise from Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. The pair play the hilarious Miami detectives Mike Lowry and Marcus Burnett. The first film was released in cinemas in 1995, but Smith and Lawrence recently joined forces for a long-overdue sequel.

Bad Boys for Life has only just been released in movie theaters, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony are already getting ready for a third sequel. Chris Bremmer, who wrote Bad Boys for Life, has reportedly already been tapped to pen the script.

“Smith and Lawrence are, of course, expected to return and the plan is not to have the same time lag between Bad Boys II and Bad Boys for Life,” The Hollywood Reporter shared. “The time lag was due to several factors, such as spiraling budgetary costs, but also about finding the right story.”

The second season of the Netflix show may have arrived over the summer, but fans may have to wait a while for season three. With a new unconfirmed character introduced to the mix, this is disappointing news for fans.

The reason for the delay is that Mindhunter director David Fincher is currently directing a film. Titled “Mank”, the feature was written by Fincher’s late father. As a result, work on Mindhunter will not commence until Mank is finished.

Mindhunter star Jonathan Groff told The Hollywood Reporter that work on the third season of the show has been put on hold. The platform reported that “talk of a third season of Mindhunter is on hold while Fincher focuses on his next feature.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Groff confessed that the success of Mindhunter initially left him feeling down. He said: “Whenever something really great happens, it makes me feel a little bit depressed. It’s like, this is never going to get better than this moment right now. I’m sitting in David Fincher’s office and he’s giving me this role.”

Since his time playing the infamous Slytherin in the Harry Potter franchise, Felton has landed movie roles in several titles including Rise of the Planet of the Apes, 2018’s Ophelia, and 2016’s Risen. In spite of his post-Harry Potter success, Felton has admitted that he would love to revisit Malfoy one more time.

He told MailOnline: “Go back to Hogwarts one more time? Yeah, I’m endlessly proud and affectionate of young Draco, so any chance to reprise that role would be great.”

He then joked that if he was to return with his co-stars, he’d like to mix up the roles a little bit. “I think we should come back and do the opposite, Rupert [Grint] should play Draco, I’ll play Hermione, Dan can play Dobby, and Emma can be Hagrid, it’s the perfect re-casting!”

He added: “It’ll be an interesting spin [on it]. But, seriously, if there was another chance to be in another movie then I’m sure all of us would jump at the chance to be part of it.”

There are three more movies in the Harry Potter spin-off franchise, Fantastic Beasts in the works. Whether the franchises will cross over is a mystery. But we can dream.

Months after the film’s initial release, Sir Paul McCartney has revealed that he was not impressed by the idea and declined the opportunity to watch a premiere screening. Now, he has confessed that he eventually did go and see the movie. And he loved it.

“That began when Richard Curtis, who [directed] Love Actually, wrote to me with the idea. And I thought, ‘This is a terrible idea’, but I couldn’t tell him, so I said, ‘Well, that sounds interesting – good luck,’” the Beatle told Billboard.

“I didn’t think anything more of it. Then someone said Danny Boyle would direct it, and I thought, ‘They must think they can pull it off.’ And I thought nothing more of it until they asked if I wanted to see a screening. I asked Nancy, and we said, ‘Let’s go, you and me, on a date to the cinema’.”

The couple then snuck into the cinema anonymously, hoping that no one would catch them.

He recalled: “We were in the Hamptons in the summer and there it was, so we got two tickets and walked in when the cinema went dark. Only a couple of people saw us. We were in the back row, giggling away, especially at all the mentions of Paul McCartney. A couple of people in front of us spotted us, but everyone else was watching the film. We loved it.”

The British comedian is returning one last time as the host of the Golden Globe Awards. This will be Gervais’ fifth time hosting the ceremony but he has confirmed that this time, it really will be his last time.

“Once again, they’ve made me an offer I can’t refuse. But this is the very last time I’m doing this, which could make for a fun evening,” Gervais confessed.

In a statement, Paul Telegdy, chairman of NBC Entertainment, said: “There is always palpable electricity in the room when Ricky takes the Globes stage. His return as master of ceremonies at the Golden Globes is much anticipated. It is sure to make for an unexpected evening. We can’t wait to see what he has up his sleeve.”

Released in 1996, the original Scream movie generated a cult following. Starring the likes of Courtney Cox, Rose McCowan, and Drew Barrymore, the movie follows a group of young women who are being terrorized by a masked murderer.

Now, more than two decades after the original film was released, a new Scream movie is reportedly being added to the franchise. Bloody Disgusting reported that Spyglass Media Group is currently at work on the fourth sequel of the Scream movie.

Since the release of the original title, a TV series was created for MTV that ran for two seasons. The film has also been referenced across countless horror spoofs, including the infamous Scary Movie.

It is unclear whether the film will continue from the fourth film in the franchise or whether it will introduce a new cast. None of the actors or actresses who starred in the 1996 movie have announced their participation so it is unknown whether any of the original cast will reprise their roles.

“They’re just stories, put to music,” Parton explains in the trailer. “The songs that I’ve written, they’re stories of my life. Every triumph, every struggle, every smile, every sorrow. It’s the melody of my memories. It’s the sound of my heartstrings.”

The series will revolve around eight of her songs, telling eight of her stories. The trailer offers up an image of each song on a vinyl followed up by snippets of scenes inspired by Dolly’s life.

Elsewhere in the trailer, we get a glimpse of Julianne Hough as Jolene, the woman who inspired Parton’s hit song of the same name. Although Parton’s first choice for the role was Miley Cyrus, Hough wound up as the woman to take on the honor of playing Jolene.

“It’s very disco-orientated,” she shared on the Red Carpet at the MTV Emmy Awards. “I guess I got a lot of inspiration from “Electricity” and “One Kiss”, she continued. “It felt like the natural progression. The album is really nostalgic with new sounds.”

The news of a “nostalgic” album with “new sounds” comes as no surprise considering Dua Lipa’s recent social media posts. At the beginning of the month, the singer posted a photo of herself with her new blonde hair. She captioned the image “new era.”
