Milo Ventimiglia is about to live life on the edge.

USA Network is planning to develop a limited series about Evel Knievel, who is renowned as one of the world’s greatest stuntmen.

The This Is Us star will portray the famous figure as he prepares to complete the historic Snake River Canyon jump, which he attempted during the ‘70s.

“USA Network is known for big event series that celebrate heroes, rebels and icons, and what could be bigger than the story of one of the greatest thrill seekers of all time?” said president of entertainment networks USA Network and SYFY for NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment, Chris McCumber.

“The incredible life and journey of Evel Knievel lends itself to a dramatic retelling, and we are excited to be partnering with Milo, McG, UCP, Atlas, and Wonderland to bring this iconic American tale to our viewers.”

Production on the series is expected to begin in 2020.
