It seems like The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel will be making us laugh for at least another year. Shortly after the third season of this show started streaming on Amazon, it was announced it is renewed for Season 4.

Executive producers Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, who picked up several prestigious awards since this series premiered, thanked Amazon for allowing them to continue telling Mrs. Maisel’s story. “We were thrilled to hear that for the fourth time, we do not have to pack up and vacate the premises. We’d like to thank Amazon for all their faith and support, their partnership and enthusiasm, and for letting us hang with our favorite people, the cast and crew of Maisel, for a little while longer,” said the duo.

Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon Studios, was equally excited to welcome the show back and praised the Palladinos for creating “such funny, charming, relatable characters, all with their inimitable wit and eye for detail.”

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel tells the story of New York City housewife, who decides to give stand-up comedy a shot during the ‘50s. The show premiered in 2017 and won three Golden Globes and 16 Emmys over the years.
