Sandra Oh has a really good night at the Golden Globe Awards!

Not only did the Killing Eve star co-host the ceremony with Andy Samberg of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, but she heard her own name called as Best Actress in a Television Drama.

The Golden Globes separate its categories into television and film as well comedy and drama, giving the Hollywood Foreign Press Association the opportunity to honour numerous individuals.

Amongst them was Alfonso Cuarón who won Best Director as well as Best Motion Picture (Drama) for his acclaimed Spanish film, Roma.

Green Book proved the top winner on the night as it claimed Best Actor in a Motion Picture (Drama) for Mahersala Ali, Best Screenplay, and even Best Motion Picture (Drama).

Despite being a front runner, A Star Is Born didn’t live up to the hype as the multi-nominated film only took home Best Song for Shallow.

Its star, Lady Gaga, lost out on Best Actress in a Motion Picture (Drama) to Glenn Close of The Wife who encouraged women to not only take care of their families but also find their own personal fulfilment.

Bohemian Rhapsody actor Rami Malek was awarded Best Actor in a Motion Picture (Comedy or Musical), while the film was named best film in the same category.

Netflix once again did well as The Kominsky Method won Best Television Series (Comedy or Musical) and Best Actor in a Television Series (Comedy or Musical) for Michael Douglas. Bodyguard also won Best Actor in a Television Series (Drama) for its star Richard Madden.

The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story also impressed, claiming Best Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television, as well as Best Actor in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for Darren Criss.
