The Guy Ritchie-helmed live action remake of Aladdin has had an impressive Memorial Day weekend debut.

Hauling $7 million on Thursday and $31 million and Friday from 4,476 North American theaters the remake of the Disney classic is estimated to gross grand total of $109 million over its four-day Memorial Day opening weekend.

This will make Aladdin the sixth-highest Memorial Day weekend debut ever, behind 2014’s X-Men: Days of Future Past, which hauled $110.5 million.

The feature stars Mena Massoud as the titular character opposite Naomi Scott as Jasmine and Will Smith as the Genie. Marwan Kenzari, Navid Negahban, Nasim Pedrad, and Billy Magnussen co-star. Ritchie directed from a script he co-worte with John August.
