A Whitney Houston hologram tour is launching in the UK in 2020.

For the first time ever, the late Whitney Houston will be reanimated in the form of a hologram tour. The show will be curated by Base Entertainment, who were responsible for developing the Amy Winehouse tour.

Seth Faber, the marketing boss of Primary Wave, told Music Week: “It will be an incredible show. So much effort has gone into making the show as authentic as possible. It’s going to be a phenomenal experience.”

The news follows discussion of a potential Whitney Houston musical and a “Vegas-style spectacle.”

Seven years after her premature death, Houston remains one of the best-selling music artists of all time, with over 200 million records sold worldwide. She remains a huge influence to countless artists who followed, and her big hit “I Will Always Love You” remains one of the best-selling singles by a female artist in music history.

The hologram tour will bring the opportunity for fans to experience Houston’s musical talent once more. It promises to be a “phenomenal experience” and will pay homage to the late star.
