David Bowie Conversation Piece will be released later this year and will include limited edition pressings.

The new boxset will feature twelve previously unreleased tracks by the late David Bowie. It will include home demos, studio recordings, and will track the star’s development through the 1960s. Included in the collection is a new mix of David Bowie (aka Space Oddity) by Tony Visconti.

“It was so much fun to find hidden gems of musicianship with more time to mix the second time around, a guitar twiddle here, a trombone blast there, Marc Bolan’s voice in a group choir and more detail in general that we overlooked all those years ago when the label gave us a week at the most to mix this album,” Visconti said in a press release.

“And in the details you will find 22 year old David Bowie, who would soon take the world by storm,” he added.

Additionally, buyers will receive a 120-page hardback book featuring exclusive memorabilia. Photos will be provided by Bowie’s former manager and the David Bowie archive.

The collection will arrive in November, just in time for Christmas.
