]]>You might want to ask Netflix. After spending 4 years dealing with diapers, it appears as though the Jane the Virgin star will be joining the ranks of criminal masterminds (straight out of a telenovela, right?)
The 33-year-old has been selected to play thieving villain, Carmen Sandiego, in a new film for Netflix.
The ringleader of the V.I.L.E. criminal organization first became famous in the ’80s in a mystery exploration game called Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego.
Having already lent her voice to an animated series reboot of the character that is set to be released next year, Netflix has now confirmed that Gina will also take on the role in live-action form, complete with enormous red hat.
The Golden Globe winner is also set to produce the film through her production company, I Can and I Will.
Let’s hope that she has enough pages in her passport.
