Multiple outlets confirm that the animated family comedy co-created by Amy Poehler with Julie and Mike Scully has been renewed for another season. 

The series Duncan, voiced by follows Poehler, an average 15-year-old boy with a rich fantasy life and the people in his world. Voice starring alongside Poehler is Ty Burrell, Riki Lindhome, Betsy Sodaro, Yassir Lester, and Zach Cherry.

“Duncanville is another great addition to our Sunday Animation Domination block,” said Michael Thorn, President of Entertainment at Fox Entertainment. “Amy, Mike and Julie have been fantastic partners, as have the teams at 20th and Universal Television. Our thanks also go out to the entire voice cast, including Ty, Riki, Betsy, Yassir, Zach, Joy, Rashida and Wiz. Duncan may be an average teen. However, the show is anything but, and we can’t wait for a brand-new season of Harris family adventures.”

Per the network, in its first season, Duncanville has averaged 2.3 million viewers per episode in multi-platform viewing.

The daytime television hosts will return with new episodes shot from home as they continue to practice self-quarantining. 

“Since going into quarantine two weeks ago, I’ve been doing my show at home every day. But only for Portia. Starting Monday, you’ll be able to see it too, and I can’t wait,” said DeGeneres.

“I may not be in my purple chair, and it may not look the same but I’m very excited to get back to my Wendy Watchers … there’s so much uncertainty in all of our worlds right now and we need each other!,” Williams said.

The project, a co-production of Smith’s Westbrook Media and Topgolf Studios, is the latest addition to the quick-bit platform set to launch April 6. 

In This Joka, Smith invites a diverse lineup of up-and-coming, established, and legendary comedians, to explore the nature of comedy. The series will showcase stand-up sets, as well as one-on-one conversations, intimate interviews, and docu-style moments shot on location at Topgolf’s Las Vegas driving-range venue and other spots across the city.

“Will’s love and respect for stand-up comedy runs deep, and with this series on Quibi, we hope to discover, learn from, and uplift the next generation of diverse comedic talent,” said Terence Carter, co-president of Westbrook Studios.

Quibi launches on April 6.

Series star Wil Traval revealed the news that the streaming giant has opted not to renew the series on Instagram Thursday.

“It’s a very sad day today,” he wrote. “I have just received news from Netflix that there will be no season 2 of #messiah I wanted to say to all the fans thank you for your support and love. I wish things were different.”

The series followed a CIA officer Eva Geller (Michelle Monaghan) investigates a man — referred to by some as Al-Masih (Mehdi Dehbi) — attracting international attention and followers through acts of public disruption. The network announced that The Magicians, based on Lev Grossman’s bestselling novels of the same name, will end with its current fifth season. 

Created by John McNamara and Sera Gamble, the series follows a group of 20-somethings attending Brakebills University for magicians as they discover their magical abilities and ward off evil creatures. 

“The Magicians has been a part of our Syfy family for five fantastic seasons,” Syfy said in a statement. “As we near the end of this journey, we want to thank John McNamara, Sera Gamble, Henry Alonso Myers, Lev Grossman, and our entire brilliant cast, crew, writers and directors for their beautiful creation. But most of all, we thank the fans for their tremendous support and passion. Because of you, magic will be in our hearts forever.”

Season four saw the departure of one of the show’s main cast members, Jason Ralph, who played Quentin Coldwater. Remaining leading castmates in season 5 include Stella Maeve as Julia Wicker, Hale Appleman as Eliot Waugh, Arjun Gupta as Penny Adiyodi, Summer Bishil as Margo Hanson, and Olivia Taylor Dudley as Alice Quinn.

The season finale, now officially series finale, will air April 1st.

New Amsterdam, which is currently airing its second season, has been renewed by the network for three additional seasons. The renewal brings the medical drama’s total to five seasons.

The early renewal from the network was announced by the chairman of NBC Entertainment, Paul Telegdy, during the Television Critics Association winter press tour Saturday morning.

The series from creator David Schulner is based on the book Twelve Patients: Life and Death at Bellevue Hospital by Eric Manheimer. 

The series follows Dr. Max Goodwin (Ryan Eggold) as he becomes the medical director of one of the US’ oldest public hospitals, aiming to reform the neglected facility by tearing up its bureaucracy in order to provide exceptional care to patients.

In addition to Eggold, the series stars Janet Montgomery, Freema Agyeman, Jocko Sims, with Tyler Labine and Anupam Kher.
