It’s all gonna be okay, Spider-Man fans!

Last month, Peter Parker was pulled out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe after it appeared that a deal could not he reached between Sony Pictures, which owns the rights to the web-slinger, and Marvel boss, Kevin Feige.

But, sanity has prevailed, and Spidey can once again be a part of The Avenger thanks to a new deal which has been reached.

“I am thrilled that Spidey’s journey in the MCU will continue, and I and all of us at Marvel Studios are very excited that we get to keep working on it,” Feige said in a statement. “Spider-Man is a powerful icon and hero whose story crosses all ages and audiences around the globe. He also happens to be the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes, so as Sony continues to develop their own Spidey-verse you never know what surprises the future might hold.”

The deal now paves the way for a third film starring Tom Holland as the teen superhero.

All good things come to an end, and the head of Marvel Studios knows just that.

It was announced last week that Spider-Man and Marvel would be parting ways after a profit-sharing structure could not be agreed upon with Sony Pictures.

“It was a dream that I never thought would happen,” said Marvel Studios head, Kevin Feige. “It was never meant to last forever. We knew there was a finite amount of time that we’d be able to do this, and we told the story we wanted to tell, and I’ll always be thankful for that.”

Although it is sad that Spidey will no longer get to swing around with The Avengers, the actor behind Peter Parker, Tom Holland, is choosing to remain positive.

“Basically, we’ve made five great movies,” he told Entertainment Weekly “It’s been five amazing years. I’ve had the time of my life. Who knows what the future holds? But all I know is that I’m going to continue playing Spider-Man and having the time of my life. It’s going to be so fun, however we choose to do it. The future for Spider-Man will be different, but it will be equally as awesome and amazing, and we’ll find new ways to make it even cooler.”

At least Marvel won’t have to worry about all those leaked spoilers anymore…

In case you haven’t heard, Spider-Man is swinging out of the Marvel Universe.

Sony Pictures announced on Tuesday that it would be parting ways with Marvel Studios over the profit-sharing structure.

“Much of today’s news about Spider-Man has mischaracterized recent discussions about [Marvel President] Kevin Feige’s involvement in the franchise,” Sony said in a statement.

“We are disappointed, but respect Disney’s decision not to have him continue as a lead producer of our next live action Spider-Man film. We hope this might change in the future, but understand that the many new responsibilities that Disney has given him – including all their newly added Marvel properties – do not allow time for him to work on IP they do not own. Kevin is terrific and we are grateful for his help and guidance and appreciate the path he has helped put us on, which we will continue.”

Many fans were devastated by the news, though one did inquire whether that now opened up the possibility of Spidey finally starring with Deadpool, who is also not part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Sadly, Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds responded saying, “You can. But you can only see it in my heart.”

And just like that, our hearts broke all over again.

The trailer features Hardy’s voiceover as we hear him saying, Everyone’s got their thing. Maybe it’s a breakup, a death, an accident…whatever it is, you used to be one thing. Now, you’re something else. We all have our own problems, our own issues, our own…demons.” When he says something else, he talks about a Brooklyn-based supervillain.

We first saw Venom/Eddie Brock in Spider-Man comics back in the ’80s. The initial idea was for Spider-Man to receive a new black alien suit during the Secret Wars series. It would affect him and almost turn him into a villain, but it eventually ends up belonging to the corrupt photographer Eddie Brock, creating Venom.
