South Africans warmly opened their arms on Monday as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle began their Africa tour in none other than Cape Town.

The city is known colloquially as the “Mother City” and the royal pair’s visit was surrounded by children as they ventured to the township of Nyanga.

Meghan, who gave birth 4 months ago, told the crowd, “While I am here with my husband as a member of the royal family, I want you to know that for me, I am here as a mother, as a wife, as a woman of color, and as your sister. I am here with you and I am here for you and I thank you so much for showing my husband and I the spirit of ubuntu.”

Harry and Meghan then made their way to District Six where thousands of non-white families were made to evacuate their homes in the ‘60s during Apartheid.

The Duke and Duchess’s visit was a joyous one, however, as they learned about the history and sampled the local Cape Malay delicacies which included samoosas, koesisters, and traditional potato pudding.

The 34-year-old Duke’s connection with Africa is undeniable, just as his late mother Princess Diana’s was. 

The tour will be Harry and Meghan’s official trip to South Africa. And, much to their fans’ delight, also joining them on the tour — which is set to focus on youth empowerment, education and conservation — is their son Archie Harrison. 

“In just a few weeks our family will be taking its first official tour to Africa, a region of the world that over the past two decades has been a second home to me,” the Royal wrote. “Our team has helped create a meaningful program that we’re so excited to share with you.

“On a personal note,” he added, “I can’t wait to introduce my wife and son to South Africa! We’ll see all of you very soon.” 

The post revealed that the Duke and Duchess will travel to Malawi, Angola and Botswana.

Kensington Palace has now given us indication that Baby Sussex may arrive as early as this week…

Prince Harry was scheduled to travel to Amsterdam this week to attend an official engagement, and then to The Hague to launch the one-year countdown to the 2020 Invictus Games.

Instead, the trip has now been cut short from a two-day trip to a single day, with Harry only visiting The Hague, which is just an hour from London.

Some are of the opinion, however, that the newborn has already arrived!

It has already been reported that the Duchess of Sussex did not intend to show off her newborn in a photograph outside the hospital like her brother- and sister-in-law did with their three children; preferring rather to celebrate first as a family, out of the public eye.

In addition, British radio host Chris Evans also hinted that Meghan has already popped by pointing out that Queen Elizabeth II had recently been to the Sussex home, Frogmore Cottage.

“The queen has been to see Meghan and Harry,” he said. “Now, she doesn’t do that. That’s all I’m saying. The queen has been to see them. Now, that doesn’t happen.”

But while the world holds its bated breath, Kensington Palace said it will announce when Meghan goes into labor.

Kensington Palace has released photographs which are likely to be on the Christmas cards of the monarchical members.

This marks the first holiday where Prince William and Duchess Catherine’s family numbers five, thanks to the birth of Prince Louis in April. The 8-month-old is being held by his mother whilst surrounded by his siblings, Charlotte and George, and his father.

Despite being the future king of England, William and his young family appear like any other as they rest against a tree trunk outside their Anmer Hall home in Norfolk.

Releasing their own photograph were newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The black and white picture is from their evening wedding reception, showing them hand-in-hand watching fireworks erupt in the grounds of Frogmore House in Windsor.

Princess Eugenie, who is the daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York and Duchess of York, Sarah (aka Fergie), is the second of Queen Elizabeth II’s grandchildren to walk down the aisle this year.

The 28-year-old has been dating liquor executive, Jack Brooksbank, for the last 7 years.

The pair married at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got hitched just 5 months ago.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were of course in attendance for their cousin’s big day.
