]]>It has been just over a year since the #MeToo movement came into existence, with many men in Hollywood being exposed for sexual harassment and other male stars criticizing the campaign for dividing the sexes.
During a recent interview with The Sunday Times, the Luther star was asked whether it is difficult being a man in the industry amidst the current #MeToo climate.
“It’s only difficult if you’re a man with something to hide,” replied the 46-year-old.
Idris’ response has been praised by women in the industry, including Shonda Rhimes and Ava DuVernay.
The Grey’s Anatomy creator retweeted the article with a simple, “See?”

]]>The former NFL player stated that he pulled out of reprising his role as Hale Caesar in Expendables 4 after producer, Avi Lerner, allegedly told him that the only way he could return was if he dropped a sexual harassment claim against a talent agent.
Terry accused William Morris Endeavor talent agent, Adam Venit, of groping him at a party in 2016, and revealed Lerner’s threat during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on the Sexual Assault Survivor Bill of Rights last week Tuesday.
While some may be throwing shade at Terry’s way, his colleagues from the former FOX show have nothing but love.
“He’s a miracle,” said Andy Samberg. “We have a cast text chain and we were all texting him how incredible it was. Terry’s the best guy. I am proud to know him.”
We couldn’t agree more.

]]>Well, the 50 year old is done playing the victim.
After being one of the six women who initially exposed producer Harvey Weinstein for sexual assault, the actress is now taking matters further.
Ms. Judd has filed papers in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, claiming the disgraced Hollywood mogul ruined her career by spreading “false and malicious statements” regarding her “professionalism as an actor,” particularly to Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson, with whom she had initially met regarding a role in the franchise.
The legal action has been supported by fellow starlets, including Reese Witherspoon:

In response, Weinstein released a statement saying, “The most basic investigation of the facts will reveal that Mr. Weinstein neither defamed Ms. Judd nor ever interfered with Ms. Judd’s career, and instead not only championed her work but also repeatedly approved her casting for two of his movies over the next decade.”
We recommend he start rewatching some legal films…
