The private affair was led by the Archbishop of Canterbury and attended by only 25 people, including Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles, and Meghan Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland.
Meghan and Prince Harry have chosen not to make public young Archie’s godparents, but did share two photos with royal fans.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are so happy to share the joy of this day with members of the public who have been incredibly supportive since the birth of their son. They thank you for your kindness in welcoming their first born and celebrating this special moment,” the caption read.
The Duke and Duchess’s Instagram post also revealed that the 2-month-old was baptized wearing a handmade replica of the christening gown worn by royal infants for the last 11 years.

]]>The Duchess of Cambridge ventured to the world’s most famous tennis tournament on Thursday to see her friend Serena Williams compete in the second round of Wimbledon.
The Duchess and the Grand Slam champion have been friends for almost a decade, dating back to 2010 when they met at another sporting event — the Super Bowl.
Since then, they have remained close, with Serena even throwing a baby shower for Meghan earlier this year.
The new mom continued her tradition of attending Wimbledon, having done so in 2016 and last year with sister-in-law Kate Middleton.
Kate attended this year’s tournament on Monday to watch Serena play in the first round, but Meghan was not alone in the stands as she had close friends, Lindsay Roth and Genevieve Hillis, beside her.
It is believed that all three of Meghan’s friends will be present when she and Prince Harry christen baby Archie over the weekend.
