The actor, who plays Peter Parker, was clad in the iconic spidey suit. Holland was also wearing a white PPE face mask. “Wear a mask, I’m wearing two…,” he captioned the behind-the-scenes pic.
The still untitled third installment of the franchise, recently resumed its production in Atlanta.
Joining Holland in the upcoming Spider-Man sequel is Benedict Cumberbatch, who will star as his Marvel character Doctor Strange. It is reported that Jamie Foxx is in talks to reprise his role of Electro in the film.
Not much is known about the film as Holland, who has a reputation for revealing spoilers, has been secretive about the film’s details.
“I’m not gonna tell you anything about it because I’ve learned my lesson,” Holland said in a video posted to social media after he was delivered the script for Spider-Man 3 in late October. “But I’m so excited … I’m gonna read this now and I can’t wait.”

Renowned director Martin Scorsese recently referred to Marvel’s movies as “not cinema” during an interview with Empire.
“I don’t see them. I tried, you know? But that’s not cinema,” The Irishman filmmaker said. “Honestly, the closest I can think of them, as well-made as they are, with actors doing the best they can under the circumstances, is theme parks.”
Whilst speaking to Howard Stern, Rudd presented a different view.
“Ultimately, you really care about relationships with people. It isn’t all just special effects–driven. You wanna see people and human behaviour and talking to each other,” he said.
The actor continued, “In Ant-Man, I have a whole relationship with my daughter and the human struggles of being a superhero. I think we’re trying to deal with human issues and things that are relatable that are not just rides.”

Since then, many female characters have joined the Marvel Universe including Captain Marvel, Black Panther‘s Okoye, and Guardians of the Galaxy’s Gamora, to name a few.
In Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, many of these superwomen joined together to take on Thanos and his army. The all-female scenes were a big hit with fans and now, Johanson is backing an all-female Marvel movie.
“I don’t know what my future is in that world. Obviously, it’s a little more opaque for my character,” Johansson told Variety. “But that group of actresses is so incredibly powerful and when they come together, it’s explosive and unstoppable. So yes, I’m pushing for that. I think audiences want it and I’m definitely one of them.”

]]>Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel was teased in the end credits of Avengers: Infinity War and was given her first stand-alone movie earlier this year. When it came to the final showdown, however, she was nowhere to be seen. Other than a brief appearance at the start of the movie and a last-minute swoop in towards the end, she was absent throughout.
In a new interview with Vanity Fair, writers Cristopher Markus and Stephen McFeely explained why the superhero had such a small part in the Endgame events.
Markus revealed that the main problem they had with Captain Marvel was that she is far too powerful: “She was always going to be in it, but we didn’t have much to go on. They had cast her and that was it. It is a tough balance to strike when you have a character that powerful who you’re going to bring in, and you don’t want it to seem like, well we just brought in this person who can clean the house that we couldn’t clean in the previous movie.”
He added: “We had to decide on a balance between not making it feel like a cameo but not having her around so much that she solved all of the problems for everybody.”
McFeely also commented: “The point of the second movie was saying goodbye to the original six Avengers, so their stories were gonna be way up here… It was not fair to the other six Avengers to have Captain Marvel come in and solve all their problems, it didn’t seem like good storytelling.”

Waititi played the role of Korg in Thor: Ragnarok, which he directed in 2017. He then followed that up by reprising the role in this year’s final film in the current phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers: Endgame.
Reports have now claimed that Waititi will be hopping across the metaphorical pond to the world of DC, where he will be joining the Suicide Squad sequel.
Production on the James Gunn feature is scheduled to begin on September 23rd, with Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, and Idris Elba already onboard.
But don’t worry, Marvel fans. Waititi will be back in the MCU to helm Thor: Love and Thunder, which will see Natalie Portman taking on the role of a female Thor.
The latter will be out on November 3rd 2021, while The Suicide Squad debuts on August 4th 2021.

“It was a dream that I never thought would happen,” said Marvel Studios head, Kevin Feige. “It was never meant to last forever. We knew there was a finite amount of time that we’d be able to do this, and we told the story we wanted to tell, and I’ll always be thankful for that.”
Although it is sad that Spidey will no longer get to swing around with The Avengers, the actor behind Peter Parker, Tom Holland, is choosing to remain positive.
“Basically, we’ve made five great movies,” he told Entertainment Weekly “It’s been five amazing years. I’ve had the time of my life. Who knows what the future holds? But all I know is that I’m going to continue playing Spider-Man and having the time of my life. It’s going to be so fun, however we choose to do it.
