]]>Despite not looking a day over 25, the Almost Famous star celebrated her 40th birthday on Friday!
Thank you for all the love today 
The day was filled with surprises as Kate’s friends and family gathered at a coffee shop in her honor and gave the birthday girl a happy shock.
The 40-year-old’s longtime friend, Gwyneth Paltrow, has organized the event, which included Kate’s partner Danny Fujikawa, her mom Goldie Hawn and longtime partner Kurt Russell, her brother Oliver Hudson, and friends such as Erin and Sara Foster, and Jamie Mizrahi.
Was Kate surprised? Oh, yes!
“You scared the s–t out of me!” she reportedly exclaimed. “Oh my God, I love you guys!”
Celebrations did not stop there as a spontaneous, last-minute soirée arranged by Kate’s close friends was held at her house that evening.
Goldie and Kurt, Erin, Sara, Leonardo DiCaprio, Reese Witherspoon, Orlando Bloom, Rachel Zoe, and Johnny Knoxville were all reportedly in attendance at the party, where guests made their own pizzas and indulged in a tequila bar.

]]>The two announced the birth of their daughter on Instagram on Wednesday. The post also revealed the baby girl’s name: Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa. The post was simply captioned with “She’s here 
.”
“We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her (paternal) grandfather, Ron Fujikawa. Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor.”
The 38-year-old actress also added that everyone was”doing well and happy as can be.” “Our family thanks you for all the love and blessings that have been sent our way and we send ours right back,” she wrote.
This is the couple’s first child together. Kate is also a mother to son Ryder, 14, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and son Bingham, 6, with ex-fiance Matthew Bellamy.

Last week, Gwyneth and some of her closest girlfriends—including fashion designer Stella McCartney—ventured to Cabo, Mexico for a fun-filled bachelorette getaway.
And now, Brad’s longtime friend and collaborator on Glee, American Horror Story and Scream Queens, Ryan Murphy, has thrown the happy couple a lavish engagement party.
Attendees at the black-tie event included Cameron Diaz and her husband Benji Madden, Julia Roberts and her husband Danny Moder, Demi Moore, Reese Witherspoon, a pregnant Kate Hudson, Chelsea Handler, Liv Tyler, and Gwyneth’s godfather Steven Spielberg.
If the engagement pictures are any indication, we can’t wait to see how glam the wedding will be.

]]>The Marshall actress is already mom to 14-year-old Ryder, with first husband Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes, and 6-year-old Bingham with former fiancé, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy.
The 38-year-old has now shared that she and boyfriend Danny Fujikawa, with whom she has been since early 2017, are expecting.
And even better — this time it’s a girl!
Just last month, Kate told The Times, “I’d like to [have more children]! I’m not done yet. A girl would be fun.”
Kate shared the news of her pregnancy on Instagram, telling her followers that the reason she’s been out of the limelight lately is, “I have never been more sick! It was the most sick first trimester of all my children.”
The cute video also revealed the sex of the baby with members of the family popping large black balloons which were filled with pink confetti and balloons.
If you’ve wondered why I’ve been so absent on my social channels it’s because I have never been more sick! It was the most sick first trimester of all my children. Boomerangs have made me nauseous, Superzoom is an easy way to have my head in the toilet, food instagrams make me queezy and thinking too much about insta stories made me even more exhausted than I already had been. If you’ve seen me out and about smiling and pretending like everything is amazing…I was lying! BUT! I have broken through on the other end of that and rediscovering the joys of insta/snap. We have been trying to keep this pregnancy under the radar for as long as possible but I’m a poppin now! And it’s too darn challenging to hide, and frankly hiding is more exhausting then just coming out with it! My kids, Danny, myself and the entire family are crazy excited! A little girl on the way We’re so exciting we’re practically bursting too!
