]]>Since his time playing the infamous Slytherin in the Harry Potter franchise, Felton has landed movie roles in several titles including Rise of the Planet of the Apes, 2018’s Ophelia, and 2016’s Risen. In spite of his post-Harry Potter success, Felton has admitted that he would love to revisit Malfoy one more time.
He told MailOnline: “Go back to Hogwarts one more time? Yeah, I’m endlessly proud and affectionate of young Draco, so any chance to reprise that role would be great.”
He then joked that if he was to return with his co-stars, he’d like to mix up the roles a little bit. “I think we should come back and do the opposite, Rupert [Grint] should play Draco, I’ll play Hermione, Dan can play Dobby, and Emma can be Hagrid, it’s the perfect re-casting!”
He added: “It’ll be an interesting spin [on it]. But, seriously, if there was another chance to be in another movie then I’m sure all of us would jump at the chance to be part of it.”
There are three more movies in the Harry Potter spin-off franchise, Fantastic Beasts in the works. Whether the franchises will cross over is a mystery. But we can dream.

]]>The prequel series to Harry Potter is expected to have five films, with the first two — Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald — having been released in 2016 and 2018, respectively.
Now, alas, Warner Bros. has confirmed that a rather long wait is in store for part three…
Production is scheduled to commence in the spring of 2020, with a release date set down for November 21st, 2021.
“We are incredibly excited about and have confidence in the Fantastic Beasts series,” said Warner Bros. Pictures Group chairman Toby Emmerich. “We all believe this release date will give the filmmakers time and space to allow their artistry to truly flourish and deliver the best possible film to our fans.”
Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling will once again be penning the screenplay for the film, which will star Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander.
