Everything Everywhere All At Once went from an underdog to a front-runner in this year’s Oscars race, to eventually taking it all! The absurdist sci-fi epic won big at this year’s Academy Awards, dominating the ceremony with seven wins, including best picture.

By winning big in seven categories, Everything Everywhere became the biggest Oscar winner in over a decade, since Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire in 2009. In addition to picking up the best picture Oscar as the film’s producers, Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert were also awarded for directing and writing this project.

Everything Everywhere was the biggest winner in the acting categories and made history as only the third film to win three acting awards at the Oscars. Michelle Yeoh became the first Asian woman to win best actress, and she was joined by her co-stars Ke Huy Quan and Jamie Lee Curtis and The Whale’s Brendan Fraser, who won the best actor trophy.

Netflix also had a reason to celebrate on Sunday night, after their film All Quiet on the Western Front picked up four Oscars. It was named the best international feature film and won big in several technical categories, including best original score, production design, and cinematography.

The 95th Academy Awards returned to the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 12, with Jimmy Kimmel hosting the ceremony for the third time.

Another Independent Spirit Awards ceremony is behind us, and it paved the way for the remainder of this year’s awards season. Everything Everywhere All at Once topped the list of winners with a total of seven awards, while The Bear dominated the TV field with two.

The total domination of Everything Everywhere doesn’t come as a shocker after it entered the night with a total of eight nominations, but it’s still quite historic. This sci-fi dramedy managed to win in all the seven categories it was nominated for, making history the most-awarded film at the Independent Spirit Awards.

In addition to winning best feature, its helmers Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert also collected accolades for writing and directing this film, while Paul Rogers picked up a trophy for editing it. Its stars Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, and Stephanie Hsu all collected acting awards in their respective categories.

Film Independent also handed out awards in several TV categories for the third time this year, and The Bear was the biggest winner of the night. It was named the best new scripted series, while Ayo Edebiri picked up a trophy for her supporting performance in this show.

The 38th Independent Spirit Awards took place on March 4 at Santa Monica Pier, California, with Hasan Minhaj hosting the festivities for the first time.

SAG Awards returned to Los Angeles on Sunday night, and this year’s ceremony was the most historic one yet. Everything Everywhere All At Once was the biggest winner of the night, and it took the record-breaking four trophies home.

Everything Everywhere All At Once was one of the front runners for outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture. It managed to live up to the expectations and it defeated Babylon, The Banshees of Inisherin, The Fabelmans, and Women Talking to win this award.

Its stars Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan made history as the first Asian actors to receive SAG Awards in their respective categories. Jamie Lee Curtis also won a trophy for her supporting performance in this film, pulling one of the night’s biggest upsets.

Things were much tamer on the television side, and most of the awards went to the clear front-runners. The White Lotus was the night’s biggest winner with two accolades, including outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series. Abbott Elementary dominated the comedy field and picked up the award for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy series.

The 29th Screen Actors Guild Awards took place at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Century City, California on February 26, and the ceremony was streamed live on Netflix’s YouTube channel.

The list of winners at this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards is in and Everything Everywhere All at Once cemented its status as one of the front-runner at the Oscars. It topped the list of winners with a total of five awards, while Better Call Saul dominated the TV field with three trophies.

Everything Everywhere made history as one of the most nominated films in the Critics’ Choice Awards history with a total of 14 nods. It managed to beat the likes of The Banshees of Inisherin, The Fabelmans, and Avatar: The Way of Water to win the ceremony’s biggest honor: best picture.

Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert won two awards for their work on Everything Everywhere: best director and best screenplay. It was also a big night for Ke Huy Quan, who was crowned as best supporting actor, cementing his status as the Oscar front-runner.

Better Call Saul dominated the TV categories and walked away with three awards by the end of the night – best drama series, best actor in a drama series (Bob Odenkirk), and best supporting actor in a drama series (Giancarlo Esposito). Abbott Elementary, The Dropout, and Weird: The Al Yankovic Story did pretty well and picked up two awards each.
