The HBO series is a half-hour long and is helmed by Mohamad El Marsi. TRE CNT (a.k.a TRE COUNT) will follow young dockworker and struggling pro-wrestler, Cassius Jones, who inherits life insurance money from his grandfather and uses it for start-up cash and the deed to a shotgun house to start hip-hop centric backyard wrestling.

Rae, Garcia, and Johnson have previously worked with HBO. Rae currently stars in, executive produces, and co-created Insecure and is an executive producer for A Black Lady Sketch Show. Johnson and Garcia produced the series Ballers and Johnson also starred in it.

Johnson’s involvement in the project is super exciting as he previously wrestled as iconic The Rock in WWE before rising to become on of the most famous pro wrestlers of all time and winning tons of championships along the way.

The trailer shows intrepid researcher Dr. Lily Houghton (Blunt) traveling from London to the Amazon jungle to find an ancient tree with healing powers that can change modern medicine as long as it doesn’t fall into the wrong hands. She hires skipper Frank Wolff (Johnson) to accompany her on the journey.

Frank explains to her that he’s been searching for this same tree, and he’s had no luck uncovering it. During their journey, the pair will be faced with animals and people that want to kill them.

Also starring in Jungle Cruise are Edgar Ramirez, Jack Whitehall, Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti.

Those emanating from Hollywood include big names such as Dwayne Johnson, Taylor Swift (who is rumored to be releasing new music this month), recent Oscar winner Regina King, fellow Oscar winner Lady Gaga, Chrissy Teigen, Sandra Oh, Korean pop group BTS, Khalid, comedian Hasan Minhaj, and Richard Madden.

Not everyone made one of the special covers, but those who did included Taylor, Dwayne, and Sandra.

Now in its 16th year, the editorial director of the TIME 100, Dan Mascai, describes the list as “a community of hundreds of global leaders, many of whom support and challenge one another. Dwayne Johnson has confirmed that production has now wrapped on his latest film, Hobbs & Shaw.

The action-packed feature is a spin-off to the Fast & Furious franchise in which the Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle actor also starred.

Reprising his role as federal agent Luke Hobbs, Johnson teams up with fellow Fast & Furious character Deckard Shaw, played by Jason Statham.

The frenemies were last seen together in 2017’s The Fate of the Furious but now have their own mission to perform as they attempt to stop an international terrorist played by Luther star Idris Elba.

Referring to himself and Jason as the “last men standing,” The Rock announced the end of filming by sharing a picture of the pair alongside a helicopter rigged off the ground.

“Easily the most challenging film I’ve ever produced and starred in, however based on the fans’ insanely hyped ‘break the internet’ reactions to our first trailer — this film is also shaping up to be my most rewarding,” states the caption.

“A HUGE bald and brotherly MAHALO to the man who trusted me and our chemistry and ‘pushed all his chips in’ to make something bad ass and fun for the fans. My uso @jasonstatham. He’s one legit talented and tough bastard and the pure joy I got from making him laugh so f**king hard during the our takes he couldn’t even talk, I will always remember with evil glee.”

We can’t wait to see the fruits of their labour when Hobbs & Shaw hits screens on August 2nd 2019.

Baby Tiana Gia Johnson was born on Monday. The Rock immediately shared a sweet photo of the two of them on social media, saying that he is “blessed and proud to bring another strong girl into this world.”

“Tiana Gia Johnson came into this world like a force of nature and Mama @laurenhashianofficial labored and delivered like a true rockstar,” he continued.

The Rampage actor was shooting a scene which dealt with suicide for HBO’s Ballers and chose to disclose that his mother had tried to take her own life by walking into oncoming traffic when he was just 15 years old.

Dwayne revealed that he had saved his mom’s life during the horrific incident: “Big rigs and cars swerving outta the way not to hit her. I grabbed her and pulled her back on the gravel shoulder of the road. What’s crazy about that suicide attempt is to this day, she has no recollection of it whatsoever. Probably best she doesn’t.”

The effect of the event caused the former professional wrestler to fall into depression, telling Express, “I reached a point where I didn’t want to do a thing or go anywhere. I was crying constantly.”

Thirty years later, The Rock has said he and his mother have “both healed, but we’ve always got to do our best to pay attention when other people are in pain. We have to help them through it and remind them they are not alone.”

And that is what they call true strength.

In light of International Women’s Day, the Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle actor posted a tribute on Instagram which featured his 2-year-old daughter, Jasmine.

The blue-eyed beauty – who is Dwayne’s second child, but first with musician girlfriend, Lauren Hashian – has had a rough week after being rushed to the emergency room last Saturday night for an unidentified incident.

The toddler (who now, thankfully, seems to be just fine!) can be seen sitting on her dad’s lap during the video, as he encourages her to wish all a happy International Women’s Day and do her best Spice Girls impression by declaring, “Girl power!”

The 45-year-old actor is surrounded by strong women, including Jasmine, his 16-year-old daughter from his first marriage, Simonne, his current partner of 12 years, Lauren, and the couple’s soon-to-be-born baby who is – you guessed it – a girl!
