]]>The country group has shared their latest single “Julianna Calm Down,” a track off their upcoming album, which was initially slated for a May 1 release, a release date that has been postponed for unknown reasons.
“We can’t give you the full album just yet, but we also couldn’t let May 1 pass by without sharing a new song with you,” they said in a press release. “So, here is track number nine “Julianna Calm Down” off Gaslighter. We hope it makes you feel empowered, smile, and strut the f*** around like you’ve got nothing to lose. We will strut through this time together.”

Reps for the group said in a statement that the “highly anticipated fifth studio album, Gaslighter, originally scheduled to drop on May 1, 2020, via Columbia Records, has been postponed. Additional details are forthcoming. Fans should continue to check @DixieChicks social media for additional updates and announcements.”
The Dixie Chicks join the slew of artists who have pushed back album releases due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, some of them include Lady Gaga, Sam Smith, Margo Price, Alanis Morissette, Haim, and Alicia Keys.
