The Queen biopic rocked cinemas last year thanks to a stellar performance by Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury and a set of songs that reminded us why the British group are the champions.

After making over $875 million worldwide, there is now talk within the Queen family of making another film.

Rudi Dolezal, who directed Queen videos, has told Page Six that a sequel is being “heavily discussed” and that he expects the group’s manager Jim Beach, who also produced the film, to back a second installment.

“I’m sure he plans a sequel that starts with Live Aid,” he said.

Should a sequel be greenlit, it will no doubt see Malek reprise his role as the frontman, which saw him take home the Best Actor award at the 2019 Oscars.

The show must go on…

Rami Malek is set to rock China.

Well, partly.

The 37-year-old actor became a household name around the world for his portrayal of the Queen frontman Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody.

As a gay man, Mercury became a symbol for embracing one’s own identity, and helped Queen stand out from the dozens of other bands during that era.

The Oscar-winning film also stood out, grossing almost $862 million worldwide.

One of the countries that were not part of that success, however, was China.

Beijing’s extremely conservative stance on homosexuality meant that the motion picture has so far not been released there.

But Bohemian Rhapsody will now make its Chinese debut — albeit, without scenes that depict Mercury’s homosexual encounters.

This is not the first Hollywood film to receive such treatment, as a dance between two male characters was cut of out of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast remake.

With the story of Queen hitting theatres in Bohemian Rhapsody (including a rather impressive performance as Freddie Mercury by Mr. Robot star, Rami Malek), so it’s no wonder that dozens of Queen classics are being remade!

Well-known artists are lending their voices to the film’s soundtrack to cover the songs which have made Queen one of the most iconic bands of the last century.

Killer Queen has already been covered by 5 Seconds of Summer, while Shawn Mendes and Teddy Geiger took on Under Pressure.

Now, My! My! My! singer, Troye Sivan, is determined to find you Somebody to Love.

“I’m so beyond honored to have been asked to cover Somebody to Love by Queen, a masterful song by the most legendary band,” said the 23-year-old about the song which will help raise money for Mercury Phoenix Trust (MPT), an organization founded in 1992 by members of Queen and their manager Jim Beach to help support the global fight against HIV/AIDS.

We’re sure you’ll love it!

Freddy Mercury is returning to Wembley Arena.

Albeit, in a different form.

Queen filled the London stadium with 72,000 screaming fans in 1985 as part of the Live Aid concert which was voted as one of the greatest performances of all time.

33 years later — and 27 years after Freddie’s death — the venue will play host to the premiere of the film about his life.

Bohemian Rhapsody, which stars Mr. Robot actor Rami Malek as the late entertainer, will screen October 23rd at London’s SEE Arena, Wembley.

“The venue is perfect for showcasing the show-stopping performances in the film,” said the UK managing director of Fox Entertainment, Chris Green.

The premiere will be open to the public and will benefit Mercury Phoenix Trust which is the organization founded in Freddie’s name that supports HIV/AIDS initiatives globally.

As Queen said — the show must go on!
