The list of winners at this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards is in and Everything Everywhere All at Once cemented its status as one of the front-runner at the Oscars. It topped the list of winners with a total of five awards, while Better Call Saul dominated the TV field with three trophies.

Everything Everywhere made history as one of the most nominated films in the Critics’ Choice Awards history with a total of 14 nods. It managed to beat the likes of The Banshees of Inisherin, The Fabelmans, and Avatar: The Way of Water to win the ceremony’s biggest honor: best picture.

Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert won two awards for their work on Everything Everywhere: best director and best screenplay. It was also a big night for Ke Huy Quan, who was crowned as best supporting actor, cementing his status as the Oscar front-runner.

Better Call Saul dominated the TV categories and walked away with three awards by the end of the night – best drama series, best actor in a drama series (Bob Odenkirk), and best supporting actor in a drama series (Giancarlo Esposito). Abbott Elementary, The Dropout, and Weird: The Al Yankovic Story did pretty well and picked up two awards each.

Better Call Saul brought many of our favorite Breaking Bad characters back for another ride and it’s not done surprising us just yet. After years of speculations about their potential appearance, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are finally set to make a comeback as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman.

The question of their potential return once again popped up during a recent PaleyFest panel, and Better Call Saul co-creator Peter Gould confirmed both actors will be back.

“I don’t want to spoil things for the audience, but I will say the first question we had when we started the show was, ‘Are we gonna see Walt and Jesse on the show?’ Instead of evading, I’ll just say yeah,” revealed Gould.

He didn’t say when they’ll show up or in what capacity, but that will make the upcoming season of Better Call Saul even more exciting. They join the growing roster of Breaking Bad stars who also appeared on Better Call Saul, including the leading man Bob Odenkirk as Saul Goodman, Jonathan Banks as Mike Ehrmantraut, and Giancarlo Esposito as Gus Fring.

The sixth and final season of Better Call Saul is set to premiere on AMC on April 18 and it will feature a total of 13 episodes split into two parts.

The Breaking Bad prequel is coming to an end.

Multiple outlets confirm that AMC’s Better Call Saul will come to a close in 2021, after being renewed for a sixth and final season on the cabler.

News that the series is coming to an end was announced by show runner Peter Gould and co-creator Vince Gilligan at the show’s Television Critics’ Association winter press tour panel.

“From day one of Better Call Saul, my dream was to tell the complete story of our complicated and compromised hero, Jimmy McGill. Now AMC and Sony are making that dream come true,” said Gould.

“We couldn’t be more grateful to the fans and critics who are making this journey possible.  Next month we start work on the sixth and final season — we’re going to do our damnedest to stick the landing.”

And it appears that would be the end of the Breaking Bad universe.

Co-creator Vince Gilligan responded to repeated question from reporter whether he’ll continue the franchise with a simple — “probably not.”

Season 5 of Better Call Saul is set to premiere on February 23rd.

Following the release of El Camino, Aaron Paul has revealed that he would reprise his role as Jesse Pinkman “in a heartbeat”.

Paul’s character in the Breaking Bad series was initially meant to be killed off in season one of the show. His character was such a big hit, however, that the producers kept him in up until the very end. Recently, Vince Gilligan even gave him his own spin-off movie. Now, fans want to know whether or not there is a chance Jesse will turn for the series finale of Better Call Saul. By the sounds of it, Aaron Paul is keen.

“If Vince [Gilligan, Breaking Bad creator] asked me to jump onto [Better Call] Saul, I would do it in a heartbeat,” Paul told Entertainment Weekly. “And I would know it’s for very good reasons. So we’ll see.”

He clarified: “Look, we talk about it all the time, we really do, and we want to do it for the right reasons. We don’t want to just throw you in a scene that doesn’t make sense. Obviously, we would love to give that to the fans of Breaking Bad and the fans of Better Call Saul, but we don’t want fans to kind of scratch their head and they’re like, “Well, why did that happen?”

Season 5 of Better Call Saul will premiere in 2020.

Better Call Saul has been renewed for season five.

The news was confirmed the Television Critics Association’s press tour in Beverly Hills on Saturday.

But that’s not all. The series’ star Bob Odenkirk added a NSWF season four premiere announcement. Odenkirk, a self-proclaimed “real company man” wanted to make sure the show’s fans knew (and found it very difficult to forget) the premiere date for the Breaking Bad sequel’s upcoming new and fourth season.

Odenkirk shocked when he dropped his pants literally mooning  TV critics on Saturday. Odenkirk not only revealed his bare bottom, he also revealed a temporary tattoo with show’s title with a heart drawn around it and season’s four premiere date, August 6.

“See that?” Odenkirk asked. “I’m a real company man. I want everybody to know when it’s coming back. It was such a long wait. So where can I put the information where everybody will see it?”

While on stage, Odenkirk added that the upcoming season “moves faster” than previous seasons, adding that “the first episode is a slow burn but after that, it moves as fast as possible.”

This definitely has us wondering what he’ll do for the series’ next premiere announcement!
